Acquiring a General Education Diploma (GED) assists many people in fulfilling their dreams of better jobs or continuing education. For some, obtaining a copy of the GED transcript may seem to be a daunting task. Thankfully the PA Department of Education has made it available in a few easy steps from their website.

Visit the Pennsylvania Department of Education website for General Education Development transcript requests at http://www.ged.ed.state.pa.us/GEDOnline/TranscriptRequestsOL/wfTranscriptRequest1.aspx.

Enter all of the test takers information into the form located below "Examinee Information" after all information has been entered click the "next " button.

Enter the address where you would like your GED transcript mailed. When complete, click the "next button".

The transcript request from will be created automatically. Print the form. Sign and date at the bottom of the form.

Mail the form along with a $3.00 money order made out to the "Commonwealth of PA" to the following address: Commonwealth Diploma Program Pennsylvania Department of Education 333 Market Street, 12th Fl. Harrisburg, PA 17126-0333

Tip

You must send a separate $3.00 money order for each copy of the transcript you are requesting. Any money orders over $3.00 will not be accepted.
