FedEx supports five FedEx education scholarship funds focusing on diversity. The funds are offered to minority students and interns through various organizations that FedEx sponsors. If you are Hispanic, African-American, Asian, Pacific Islander American or American Indian, you may be eligible to apply. You may also apply for a FedEx scholarship if you are an intern with INROADS.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

FedEx partners with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) to offer scholarships to Hispanic graduating high school seniors. You, a parent or a grandparent must be a descendant of one of the many qualifying countries to apply. High school student applicants will also need a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. In 2018, the average scholarship is $2,500, but they can range from $500 to $5,000. You can use the scholarship for tuition, books, fees, room, board and transportation. In addition to good grades, you should participate in several activities and must write a clear, on-topic essay to win this scholarship.

United Negro College Fund

FedEx does not offer one particular FedEx scholarship through the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), but the company supports the fund financially. The UNCF offers dozens of scholarships annually to high school seniors, current college students and graduate students. You can apply to as many scholarships as you are eligible. Many UNCF scholarships require recipients to demonstrate financial need by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Depending on the scholarship you apply for, the minimum GPA, award amount and other details vary.
