- Dr. Mary Dowd is a dean of students who holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Minnesota State University. Dr. Dowd has also led many administrative offices such as affirmative action, women’s center and student conduct. She enjoys teaching, writing and advising students on how to succeed in college.Jess Jones has been teaching college-level courses in English and Communications for the past 10 years. In addition to creating and facilitating peer-to-peer tutoring programs, she’s worked to develop new curriculum for classes designed to teach academic success skills to incoming students. Jones holds a B.A. in English as well as an M.A. in English Language and Literature.Dr. Kelly Meier is a writer and multiculturalist with over 30 years of experience in higher education. She serves as the Senior Director of Institutional Diversity at Minnesota State University, Mankato and as a faculty member in the College of Education.
