UNT interior design students are required to complete an internship during their course of study, guaranteeing that all students gain some professional experience before graduation. University of Texas at Arlington

Abilene Christian University
Located in the small west Texas town of Abilene, Abilene Christian University offers a CIDA-accredited degree in interior design. Students at ACU have received 30 regional and national awards for various projects over the last few years, including a number of designs for hotels and hospitals. Student projects have provided designs for residential buildings, health care facilities and retail stores. ACU is a religious university, and it emphasizes Christian values in all aspects of its curriculum.
