The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a test taken by most college seniors who wish to continue their education in general graduate programs. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is designed for college seniors wishing to pursue a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). It is common for college seniors to take several graduate school tests in their last year of college to prepare for all possible career paths. Both of these tests allow test-takers to view their scores online, but the GRE allows scores to be revealed by phone, while the GMAT allows them to be revealed by mail or fax.
