Today most jobs require at least a General Educational Development certification, if not an actual high school diploma. If you dropped out of high school or were expelled, there are options. Although you cannot take the GED test online in Florida or anywhere else in the US, training and practice are classes available on the Net.

Make sure you meet the requirements. To obtain GED certification in Florida you must be 18 years old and have a valid Florida ID. You must not be enrolled in an accredited high school and never have graduated or received a diploma.

Study hard. The GED test covers language arts (reading and writing), mathematics, science and social studies. To pass you must earn between 200 and 800 points.
