American University in Cairo
The American University in Cairo offers a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Students interested in the program must carry a 2.5 grade point average and have already passed Introduction to Psychology with at least a "B". A combined course of algebra and trigonometry is also a pre-requisite. Once admitted, students must take Introduction to Psychological Statistics, and commit to one psychology course in the program each semester until degree completion, which requires 120 credits.

Assiut University, a 50-year-old university located in Asyut, offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Applied Psychology. The program is 12 years old, and focuses on personality issues, mental assessment, and the identifying and treating of mental health issues, in addition to other issues in the field. A psychology lab offers students an opportunity to perform various psychological experiments. In addition, the university is planning to open a psychology clinic so students may treat patients, both on campus and from the community. Graduation rate is 92%.

Alexandria University in Alexandria offers students a bachelor of arts and education degree in the discipline. Students may also pursue a master's and doctorate level degree in education, with an emphasis in psychology. The master's degree program is a minimum of one year, with a minimum of two years for the doctorate. AU was established more than 70 years ago, and has satellite programs throughout the region. The university boasts a graduate and undergraduate enrollment of more than 200,000 students.

South Valley University
South Valley University offers an bachelor's and master's degree in psychology. Course offerings include Statistical Psychology, Human Rights, Modern European Language, and Clinical Psychology. Arabic courses are also included in the curriculum. The school is 40 years old, having been a part of Assiut University, and offers its educational services to more than 45,000 students.
