Other schools that have made the best-ranked list include Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York; California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California; Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia; University of Texas - Austin; Kansas State University in Manhattan; University of Oregon in Eugene; Rhode Island School of Design in Providence; Rice University in Houston, Texas, and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

The number one "Design Intelligence" Ranking for 2010 of postgraduate architechture schools is Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachussetts. Other postgraduate architecture schools that make the best-of list are Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut; Columbia University in New York City; Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachussetts; University of Texas - Austin; University of Cincinnati in Ohio; Cornell University in Ithaca, New York; Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia; University of Virginia - Charlottesville; and the University of California - Berkeley.

National Architectural Top 10 Rankings

Architectural Record Deans Choice and Student Satisfaction Rankings

According to Architectural Record, the dean's choice for best architectural school is Auburn University of Auburn, Alabama. The other top picks include Cornell University, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, the University of Texas - Austin, and Syracuse University. Architectural Record also notes that Cornell University has had positive student ranking, and that 97 percent of Cornell graduates felt they were prepared to begin their career as an architect.
