Throughout history, flowers have been used to convey emotion, decorate gardens and homes, and provide a beautiful backdrop for nuptials. But flowers don't grow out of the ground in beautiful arrangements---floral designers use their skills to arrange them. Floral design is an art form you can learn in a classroom. If you are looking to take floral design classes in Georgia, you have several schools from which to choose.
Hall's Atlanta Floral Design School offers one-day, one-week and three-week classes in specific areas including centerpieces, bouquets, greenery, arboreum (live plants), and ikebana (Japanese floral design). A $150 non-refundable retainer fee is due at the time of registration. Students must attend at least 30 hours of class to receive a certificate.
